Small sacrifices

At 4am I told myself to sleep as soon as possible so I could wake up to give a call,

but I stumbled upon myself looking up the clock again at 630am and I told myself

Stay awake & wait.

You promised to call.

& I did. It's 8:02am & he's awake.

I guess that's what love feels like.
